F1625 CF

Shielded for the most demanding industrial cutting

The F1625 CF is a precision ply cutter for prepreg and dry fiber: carbon fiber, glass fiber, quartz fiber and aramid (Kevlar). Up to three Z-axis-controlled tangential modules and application-specific tooling keep cutting pressure and material distortion low across long nests. And for conductive dust created by dry carbon fiber, this special configuration is built to keep running in the workspace that dust creates.

Built for a composite production workflow

For precision ply cutting of prepreg or dry fiber, easy automated cutting is what decides throughput. Up to three Z-axis-controlled tangential modules and application-specific tooling minimize cutting pressure and material distortion, so the ply that comes off the table is the ply that was nested.

Long nests process continuously, with or without the optional 2.5 m (8.2 ft) conveyor extension. The extension creates a dedicated downstream work zone, so ply cutting and kitting happen in parallel rather than in sequence.

GoProduce integrates with leading nesting software through GoConnect, transferring job data into ply labeling, ply picking and ply kitting workflows. MiriSys is the first platform to support the full workflow. Kitting information appears on monitors at the table, so operators build kits directly as parts are picked. Cut, label, pick and kit, in one pass.

Your unique vantage points

Cuts the ply, not the fiber orientation

Low cutting pressure and application-specific tooling keep material distortion down, so the nested shape and the cut shape are the same shape.

Kitting in parallel

The optional 2.5 m (8.2 ft) conveyor extension turns downstream space into a second work zone. Ply cutting and kit building happen at the same time, not one after the other.
