Summa is happy to announce its presence at Texprocess 2024, the centre of textile innovation, which will be held from 23 to 26 April in Frankfurt, Germany. We share our stand with Valiani who is part of the Summa group. In cooperation with Epson and Multiplot, Summa has created a micro-factory to showcase a textile workflow from A to Z. Discover our innovative textile-cutting solutions in hall 8, booth D35. We can’t wait to welcome you!
The overall theme of the booth is automating the workflow for processing textiles. We will demonstrate this on our L1810 laser cutting machine combined with the Caron feeder that further automates the feeding of material. In addition, we will show the entire textile production process in the micro-factory together with Epson and Multiplot. From Valiani, the Invicta AP Series is present combined with the Pro2Leed, a table for detecting and digitising cutting paths.
The micro-factory demonstrates a complete workflow from printing (Epson) to Calendaring (Multiplot) and Cutting (Summa). We find it essential that our joint visitors can see the entire production process. This way, visitors can see the possibilities of the equipment and experience the benefit of a well-aligned workflow.
They get a good impression of the quality of each step, from printing to calendaring and cutting. In doing so, we hope to inspire visitors to optimise their own production workflow.
Every day of Texprocess, the production process of a different application will be created, all of which will be textile. It will range from towels and pillows to window blinds and awnings (i.e. sun protection).
Our Caron Cradle feeder, the new feeder for the L1810 laser cutter, will be presented at the exhibition. It creates an automated cutting workflow. If you put it together with an L Series laser cutter you will simplify media loading and switching, as well as reduce media waste.
Summa laser cutters (with Caron feeders) are perfect for cutting sportswear, soft signage, technical textiles, and interior decorations. Our zero-tension feeder will optimise your automated textile workflow.
Additionally, our new GoData software will be previewed for the L Series. GoData displays all the data specific to the cutter and its cutting jobs. It is developed on an Open API principle for integration with customer interfaces.
Visitors will be able to witness live demonstrations on the Summa laser cutter and Valiani cutting machine, specifically:
