Summa Presents its New S Class 3 Roll Cutter at Printing United Expo 2023

Summa eagerly anticipates the upcoming Printing United Expo, 18-20 October 2023. At the Expo, Summa brings all its technology and cutting machines together in one place - including Valiani machines - to show our sign and display, textile, and packaging solutions. The Summa America team will happily demonstrate Summa’s line of cutting and finishing devices: the S One and the new S Class 3, the L Series and the F Series. Last but not least, the Omnia and Integra will be present at the booth to represent our Valiani portfolio, as Valiani is now fully integrated and a part of the Summa group.

Roll Cutting at its Finest

For the first time, the Summa S Class 3 series will be showcased in the Americas. These cutting plotters will steal the show (and your heart) with their lightning-fast mark recognition and cutting speed. Its True Tangential Cutting Technology, unique to Summa, makes it possible to cut more precise corners and details than ever before!

The S Class 3 is perfect for cutting larger signs, such as window stickers and vehicle designs, as well as small lettering and intricate designs, and, of course, every sticker under the sun. But cutting is not the only thing the S Class 3 is capable of. With its new Performance Head, you can now cut and crease - or cut and draw - without changing tools, making it perfect for cutting and creasing folding cartons.

Large-format Cutting Solutions  

Summa will also showcase its range of wide-format cutting solutions:

• The F1612 is our most popular flatbed cutter. This multitool can cut materials in an area of 97 inches wide by 86 inches long. Thanks to the conveyor system, the F1612 can cut materials larger than the actual cutting area. This flatbed comes feature complete and is perfect for smaller and medium shops that need to cut rolls, sheets and boards. During the Expo, the F1612 will cut an extensive range of materials with some Atlanta-themed applications. Be sure to attend!

• The F3232 is the largest flatbed cutter in our range. It can cut materials in an area of 166 inches wide by 166 inches long, perfect for cutting from textile rolls! • The L1810 is our small-format laser cutter for media up to 72.6 inches wide. It’s made to cut textiles on rolls, which makes it ideal for the soft signage, garments, sports clothing, and fashion industries. Its steel conveyor ensures that the fabric is always perfectly fed through, while its fast camera accurately reads the marks, eliminating cutting mistakes. Valiani, Part of the Summa Group

For the first time since Summa’s acquisition of Valiani a year and a half ago, we can be found at the same booth at Printing United! This year, we have opted to display an Omnia and Integra on the stand. The Omnia is an auto-feed die-cutting machine created explicitly for cutting and kiss-cutting packages, labels, business cards, etc. The Integra, on the other hand, is an all-round cutting machine that combines milling, cutting and creasing into one. Its main applications are business signage, displays and custom engraving plates. These Valiani machines fit right in between the Summa roll cutter and the flatbed cutter series, perfectly complementing the Summa range. Read more
