Fixed Issues

• Solved: issue with S2 camera orientation where the camera would move in the wrong direction when searching.

• Solved: Roll-up command did not work properly on S Class 2 and S Class 3 devices.

Summa GoSign - Version 3.0

New Features

• Support S Class 3
• Added new “Creaser” tool for S Class 3.
• Added "Crease" method and "Cardboard" materials to Default Material Manager.
• Added new "Crease and Cut" sample file.

Improvements

• Barcode scan images will now be logged if LogLevel application setting is set to "1".
• Use slightly smaller region when searching the barcode line with the camera for stability.
• A proper error message will now be shown when trying to import a material manager using the "import" button instead of using the restore function.
• Added an optional property to "Clip to MediaBox" when importing PDF files where figure is outside of the MediaBox to only import the visible part.
• Prevent confirming device configuration if serial number is absent or invalid (except for plot to file), and instead show an "Invalid device serial number!" info message.
• Minimum ROM revision is now checked during device configuration and will show a "GoSign requires at least firmware revision XX" info message when it is not high enough.
• Marks necessary to calculate prefeed are now sorted "by main direction (vertical)" instead of "by nearest object", resulting in better mark prediction in some cases.
• Fixed size compensation: improved center of shape calculation for shapes with noticeable difference in deformation at opposite sides of the shape.
• Fixed size compensation: improved center calculation for segmented shapes.
• More intelligent calculation of which marks to read to accurately do a prefeed.

Fixed Issues

• Solved: Layer actions did not work with native file types (.sgsj)
• Solved: OPOS Barcode workflow would stop working when starting the worfklow for a second time.
• Solved: "Select camera profile" action is no longer available.
• Removed "size" property in the "Search regmarks" action when OPOS is selected as the regmark placement since this is not used.
• Solved: "Marks are too far apart in X direction" error can occur randomly when trying to output a print&cut file.
• Solved: Using the "Restore" function to restore action sets with an XML file that does not match the expected XML results in an empty action set being "restored".
• Solved: Some figures are not imported when importing PDF files containing a Compound Path.
• Solved: "Plot to file" devices now have a different symbol in the ribbon.
• Solved: When executing a print&cut job, "Apply" mark can be available even though there's no mark detected.
• Solved: When using "inch" or "cm" as unit, properties that use spinner boxes to increment or decrement values would sometimes show the value to be incorrect even when it's still an acceptable value.

Twin Workflow is not supported yet for the S Class 3.

• Solved: Changing a plot to file device to a normal device will prevent outputting on the device but would output to file instead.
• Solved: Importing certain PDF files would not correctly import the specified layers in the PDF file.

Fixed Issues

• Solved: Importing SVG files with an empty title svg tag, results in GoSign not displaying the file name as the job title.
• Solved: In some cases, GoSign can crash when entering the serial number during activation.
• Solved: "Close objects" action sometimes chooses the wrong objects to close, for example in a raster of rectangles.
• Slightly improved mark prediction to solve inaccuracies with jobs having a "bowing" effect.
• Sometimes the device family and model are not set in the device configuration when selecting a device, even though they were read correctly from the device.
• Solved: GoSign license is not activated for all users on a pc but only for the active user.
• Solved: "Job doesn't fit" output error when the user deselects "Plot to file" action property, after attempting an output with invalid Plot to file Width or Height values.
• Solved: Incorrect regmark size when importing an i-cut file.
• Solved: Mark detection can get stuck jumping endlessly from one position to another.
• Solved: Device settings are not always correctly received, resulting in a RomRevision output error.
• Solved: Opening a .sgsj file will still show the previous file name as job title instead of the actual .sgsj file name.
• Solved: Saving PDF file as a .sgsj file while the property "Separate layers for PDF" is set to "by color" and re-opening the newly saved .sgsj file would result in invisible lines.
• Solved: ZCC and i-Cut options are not hidden in the Import Job action properties window when Pro Pack is not activated.

• GoSign 2.4.0 hangs on S One and SummaCut devices when trying to output jobs.
