Summa’s F1612 Flatbed Cutter has been awarded as Best Wide Format Finishing Device of the Year 2011 by the European Digital Press Association (EDP). The award will be handed over at the EDP Awards Gala event, which will be held in Hamburg during FESPA Digital in May.
“The award is given for being a brand new concept and fitting right in the middle of the cutting market. It fills the gap between roll to roll and heavy duty flatbed cutters,” states Agustín Torres, EDP Chairman.
The EDP Technical Committee is made up by independent consultants, editors, engineers and other related professionals. They judge the products focussing on innovation and the new technical abilities they offer. Summa is proud of the value of its research and development tasks, as well as its quality and innovation being acknowledged by the prestigious EDP award. The F1612 will thus certainly be worth visiting at Summa’s FESPA stand (A2 – A60) in Hamburg from 24 until 27 May 2011!
The EDP Association is made up of publishers of leading European magazines devoted to digital printing and associated products: AGI (Finland), CMYK (Greece), Desktop Dialog (Germany), Dijital Tabela Teknik (Turkey), France Graphique (France), Image Reports (UK), Plakativ (Hungary), Print & Publishing (Poland), Pro Digital (Spain), Pro Digital (Portugal), Publish (Russia), Publisher (Switzerland), SignPro (Benelux), Svet Tisku (Czech Republic) and X-Media (Austria).
