Summa Dazzles with (Textile) Workflow Automation at FESPA 2024

Summa is excited to attend the Fespa Global Print Expo, the hub of leading sign and print industry professionals, which will be held from March 19 to 22 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Summa is participating with Valiani, who has been part of the Summa group since June 2022. You can discover our cutting-edge cutting solutions in hall 1, booth D80. We can’t wait to connect with you!

More specifically, the Summa booth will focus on workflow automation. One look at the booth and you will see not one but two automated workflows at work. Feeders for our laser cutter and flatbed cutter will be present, showing you what a potential workflow can look like.

Automatic textile feeding with Caron

Summa showcases the Caron Cradle feeder, a new feeder for our L1810 laser cutter designed to make media loading and switching easier, while also lowering media waste.

Our laser cutters (with Caron feeders) are exceptional at cutting soft signage, sportswear, technical textiles, and interior decoration. This zero-tension feeder is perfect for your new automated textile workflow.

We also preview the new GoData software for the range of laser cutters. GoData displays all specific data of the cutter and cutting jobs. It is an Open API principle for integration with customer interfaces.

Workflow Automation on the F1612

One of the F1612 flatbed cutters at FESPA will be connected to a new alternative feeder for the European Market. This cost-effective feeder has a stack capacity of 450 mm and  stack weight to 500 kg.

The flatbed with feeder is excellent for processing cardboard, printed sheets, and other graphic materials. On the output side, we demonstrate how a Cobot efficiently picks and sorts the cut pieces. Automate your workflow now!
