Company 27/02/2023
This year’s theme at Fespa “Bringing colour back”, could easily refer to a long-awaited come-back by the Fespa organization and its many exhibitors after a difficult period of distancing. Also, Summa will not miss the opportunity to reunite with customers and visitors and will be present at the Fespa show in Amsterdam to showcase its product line of top-level cutting solutions at booth M29 in Hall 5.
Several finishing and cutting products from Summa’s four product series will bring colour to our booth. Our dedicated Summa team will be giving demonstrations throughout the show, guiding visitors through the many advantages, features and perks embedded in the company’s extended cutting solutions.
The S One cutters are Summa’s latest addition and will be featured on the booth together with the Tray One sheet feeder. Two units, the S1D60 and S1D160 will be running continuously during the show for visitors to see the sturdiness and efficiency of the Summa roll cutters. Key features include:
The S2TC160 model from the S Class 2 Series will show you just why Summa is renowned for its roll cutter technology. Featuring meticulous and fast cutting for short and long-run jobs. By combining Summa’s Tangential module with an OPOS CAMera, the S2TC160 model offers highly accurate recognition of the registration marks at lightning-fast speeds. The processing of entire rolls of vinyl is, therefore, much more productive with an OPOS CAM cutter.
Key features include:
The Summa F Series will be represented by its most popular model, the F1612. Also this year, the F1612 will be accompanied by the convenient conveyor extension. But also two brand new F Series tools will be demonstrated. The wide gamut of materials and applications shown on the F Series flatbed system during the show will be inexhaustible, proving once again how versatile this high-end product series is.
Key features include:
New tools to be launched:
Summa’s laser cutting series, the L Series, will be represented by its L1810 Vision model this year during the Fespa show. The L1810 is especially suitable for laser cutting of textiles, such as sportswear, dye sublimation garments but also all sorts of raw materials used in the composite industry.
Key features include:
GoLaser softwareBETA
This new software module will be demonstrated in beta, as Summa will soon launch its very own software tailored to its laser cutters. One of the greatest assets of the GoLaser software is that it can also read barcodes, which will be most convenient for the signage industries.
Follow the production process from A to Z
In cooperation with our neighbor at Fespa, Klieverik, a micro-factory is set-up showing the process of print by Mimaki, then transferring the printed textiles on the Klieverik Vertex hybrid transfer printing calender and cut them on the Summa L1810 laser cutter. The microfactory is initiated by Klieverik who wants to emphasize the necessity of sustainable entrepreneurship. This is reflected in the use of sustainable materials (provided by Greentex) and cutting methods where material is optimally cut/processed (Summa).
