TexProcess 2019, the leading international trade fair for processing textile and flexible materials is opening its doors from the 14th until the 17th of May. At this occasion, Summa will be presenting the latest products, developments and solutions at booth D71 in Hall 4 for the textile industries. So, if you are interested in processing textiles and want to discover the processing chain from A to Z, this is the place to be.
What to see at the Summa stand: At booth D71 in Hall 4, Summa will be showcasing two laser cutting systems, with a special focus on the L1810 laser cutter which is ideal for cutting sportswear. Also, the F1832, part of Summa’s renowned flatbed finishing systems, will be running continuously on Summa’s booth, showing you its versatile cutting options. With both technologies on board, you will be able to discover the advantages of cutting with blades on the F Series and contactless cutting with laser on the L Series.
The versatility of the F1832 is already shown in the fact that both textiles and rigid board materials can be cut with the F1832. With a working area of 184 cm, the F1832 is a perfect match to process the popular textile size of 183 cm. In combination with the productive durability of Summa’s High Torque Rotary Module, the F1832 is ready to provide numerous solutions to the textile market, which is one of Summa’s focus markets. But also the commonly used size of rigid board material of 152 x 304 cm can easily be cut with the F1832 and Summa's Tandem Mode feature.
With the F1832’s features, idle periods will be reduced to a minimum and the use of the machine for both large and smaller jobs will be optimized considerably. And while we’re at it, you can add even more automation to your workflow thanks to the Automated Depth Control (ADC). The ADC automatically measures all installed tools to detect any changes and thus ensures optimal settings are always used. A fast tool change is in your hands, and operator errors belong to the past with this handy tool, unique to Summa’s F Series machines.
If there is one machine to point out for cutting textiles, it will be the L1810 laser cutter for sportswear. The presence of this first Summa branded laser cutter at the TexProcess exhibition is therefore indispensable. This highly engineering showpiece will bring increased productivity, ease of use, cut accuracy and automated features to the sportswear and apparel market. The process of contactless cutting will ensure high accuracy, even while cutting easily distorted or sensitive textiles, common in sportswear fabrics. Any deformations will automatically be recognized by the intelligent camera system. Even for high-production environments, this L1810 unit will be most suitable by using the optional Vision system, which quickly scans the material on the cutting bed and automatically creates a cut vector, without the need for cut designs.
