HP and Summa collaborating on cutting solutions for better customer experience

Summa nv, a leading worldwide developer and manufacturer of cutting plotters, proudly announces it has entered into a strategic alliance with HP Inc. to develop solutions for the HP Latex series production of applications for sign shops, quick printers and print service providers.

“We are pleased to work with HP in order to provide solutions to the market for customers, who need reliable cutting technology,” said Summa’s CEO Erwin Vandousselaere. “The collaboration with HP will deliver in significant improvements in efficiency for print and/or cut solutions, present in today’s finishing processes”.

Xavier Garcia, General Manager, Large Format Printing division, HP Inc adds: “Our collaboration with Summa is a joint effort to provide the best technology for our HP Latex printing customers, who are in need of higher performance to support the increasing demand for innovative applications in this market”.

Both companies said they will disclose further details soon. HP will demonstrate the new solutions on April 20-22 at ISA Sign Expo 2017 in Las Vegas.
