SUMMA's Huntsville Operations encompass over 225,000 square feet of precision machining and engineering space in three buildings. Huntsville is the headquarters for our corporate offices. Our facilities are located in Cummings Research Park, the largest research park in the United States, and are near Redstone Arsenal and the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. We are approximately 25 miles from our Cullman, Alabama facility and 270 miles from our operations in Lebanon, Kentucky. Huntsville is centrally located between Nashville, Tennessee and Birmingham, Alabama.

History

SUMMA Technology incorporated in Huntsville, Alabama in 1987 with an initial staff of only 2 people. Over the years, through large contract awards and a growing business base, SUMMA acquired the current facilities in Research Park West, which was formerly the Advanced Systems Division of United Technologies. These facilities contain 225,000 square feet of the most advanced precision machining and electronics manufacturing in the southeastern United States.
